Thank you for your support to the 2011 International Conference on Engineering Education and Research (iCEER-2011), which was scheduled to be held on 11/6~11/11 in The Grand Hotel, Taipei, Taiwan, Republic of China.
Due to circumstances beyond our control, we deeply regret that the organizers had to make the painful decision of cancelling the conference. It is unfortunate that due to extraordinarily difficult legal situation and the subsequent judicial judgment, the organizers felt that it is imperative that the reputations of National Tsing Hua University and Feng Chia University must be protected. To this end, there is no choice that iCEER must be cancelled. Once again, we hope this will not cause undue inconvenience for you. If so, we beg you for your forgiveness.
The reason why we needed to cancel the Conference was given in a letter which Vice President Da Hsuan Feng of National Tsing Hua University sent to Professor Tomas Cermak, Chairman of the Board of iNEER.
